By accessing or using the Sigly AI visibility monitoring platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Shadowstep, Lda. ("Sigly", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the Service.

Sigly is an AI visibility monitoring platform that analyses how websites are perceived, indexed, and interpreted by generative AI engines and large language models. The Service includes:

4. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain credential confidentiality, and accept responsibility for all account activities.

5. Subscription Plans, Payments & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance monthly or annually. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We reserve the right to modify prices with 30 days' notice. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by EU and Portuguese law.

6. Free Evaluations & Trials

Sigly offers a free one-time domain evaluation that does not require an account or payment.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not submit domains you do not own, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the Service.

8. Domain Ownership & Authorisation

You represent that you have the legal right to monitor any domain you submit to the Service.

9. API Access & Usage

API access is subject to rate limits (default: 100 requests per day). API keys must be kept confidential and not shared with unauthorised parties.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service is the exclusive property of Shadowstep, Lda. You retain ownership of domains and content you submit for analysis.

11. Data Protection & GDPR

Sigly is operated by Shadowstep, Lda., a European company, and is committed to full GDPR compliance. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, and object to processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Stripe, cloud hosting providers, email service providers, and AI/LLM providers.

13. Service Availability & Maintenance

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with 90 days' notice.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid in the preceding 12 months or €100, whichever is greater.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Shadowstep, Lda. from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

17. Termination & Suspension

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, fraud, or non-payment.

18. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms with at least 30 days' notice for material changes.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, except where mandatory EU consumer protection laws apply. EU consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform.

20. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Shadowstep, Lda. regarding the Service.
